Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself. They came through you but not from you and though they are with you yet they belong not to you.
Khalil Gibran

Lynn's joy in life sharing the love which Compassionate Communication brings into people's lives as they develop their skills at communicating in a connecting manner. She also likes the self-awareness that comes with their practice of the skills. Lynn follows a kundalini yoga practice which brings her calm, peace, balance and love. Compassionate Communication adds a mental emotional depth to the experience of body movements and breathing techniques. She feels a deep profound love of life. On a personal note she says "Using the skills of Compassionate Communication with my partner, 3 children, 6 grandchildren and other family members has brought so much joy into my life. Even though things are not 'perfect' they are much better than if I hadn't learned these skills."

It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men. Frederick Douglass

Lynn has been a certified organic farmer. She enjoys growing her own food that is healthy with no chemical additives. She leads an active lifestyle with bicycling, skating, dancing and yoga. Her grandchildren keep active and young at heart.
